Ample, free parking; good breakfast; free WiFi; walking distance to town centre or major Champagne caves
Room set up for 3 beds though we were only 2 persons, and thus space was cramped
I liked it's proximity to the center of Epernay and the popular champagne houses. The room was clean and comfortable.
The bathroom was very small and a little difficult to maneuver.
Basic hotel in industrial estate 5 minutes drive from Blois. Next to a highway. ok for busness people who just want to overnight somewhere simple, less good for tourists. You need to have a car to get anywhere.
The location is perfect for an Epernay visit, and everyone was pleasant and helpful.
explored Epernay, visited the champagne area, bought lots of champagne. Lots to see and do the location was excellent
The whole place was a bit tired dinner wasn't very good pave was tough, fruit salad tinned, although the fish was good, breakfast was good but only a limited amount one cup of coffee, one croissant the boiled egg maker was brilliant
Convenient to champagne 'houses' and city centre. Close to Reims.
Good time with lots of help from hotel staff
Staff very helpful, room very good value for the money.
Good basic accomodation and reasonably priced food in the resturant. The hotel served the purpose for a reasonably priced overnight stop.
Very small room with poor lighting. The location of the hotel was not very good.
Touring the vineyards.
I did not like how the internet price was advertised as 91 euros, then after putting in my credit information it was augmented to 98 euros on my confirmation, then when I was checking out I was told that in fact my confirmation was only a "hold" on my credit card aka, I had not actually paid. And then pour faire regler le facteur le prix devenu 101 euros. In other words I was led to believe that I was paying 91 euros for 2 nights when in fact I left paying 101 euros. I would rather have had the bill paid for at the beginning and the actual price of 101. I might have even still been ok with the price. However, I feel that this constituted a form of deceit as I did not know the actual price until the end of my stay. Just for that reason I will not ever book a hotel through the Kyriad again. The service was fine on the ground, but that I find to be despicable. It is not a question of money but rather, of honesty in business practices. The customer should know the price of the product before s/he decides to buy, not after they are locked in.
Great location, about 300 meters from the Rue de Champagne. Room was quite adequate for touring the champagne district. Car parking a plus. Within walking distance of champagne houses & further on into town for restaurants
Great location near to all the champagne houses. Great value for money.
Some of the staff at the front counter very, very rude to both me and other guests. Worse attitude than Fawlty Towers and not funny at all.......
There was a free parking. Location was also nice, although you have to walk 15min to the city centre, but along the Avenue of Champagne so could be worse.
Staff spoke only French.
The Kyriad Epernay was fine for what we needed, a clean and comfortable overnight stay in a journey from the Swiss border to the Channel tunnel.
We had understood from the website that it was very close to the centre of Epernay. This was not the case. It was about a half a mile walk from shops and restaurants. We were rather disconcerted on our arrival and looking forward to a shower that there was no water at all in our room. Fortunately this problem was solved reasonably quickly.
It was handy for the places we wanted to visit
The girl on reception was extremely surly – to call her attitude 'indifferent' would be to put it politely. The room was cramped and rather dark. The toilet was missing a seat and although this was rectified when we pointed it out, the seat that was fixed was unstable. We decided not to pay the extra for breakfast...
